Don’t Cry for Me

Don’t cry for me when I am gone,
Just don’t shed tears when I am no more,
I never wanted you sad, in tears, you know,
I always tried to save you from fears.

I wanted to put on your face only smiles, to
Make you laugh always I’ll go extra miles,
Now you no longer see me smiling anymore,
But that’s not I wanted you to remember.

Think of the time we were happy together,
I loved you as no one could do, never, I
Said whatever you say, I love you more,
And more, I still love you more – from afar.

I do have regrets, could not keep you as a
Queen forever, things don’t always turn out
As wished, planned, as my heart desired, for me
You were always the Queen to love, to adore.

We shared the ups and downs, rain and shine,
We laughed together, we also cried together,
Sharing the moments together was our only
Strength, our pride, and yes, our whole being.

Remember only the moments we spent together
As two bodies but one soul, as two people but
One goal, two minds but acting as one,
Those long years we lived a charmed life.

So my dear, don’t cry for me when I am gone,
Just don’t shed tears when I am no more,
I never wanted you sad, in tears you know,
I’ll sure watch, and feel your touch, from afar.
