association with the media in India, and the United States, extensive travels, and meeting with top lawmakers and celebrities,

Yatindra Bhatnagar has written over 20 books on a wide variety of subjects, from international affairs

the U.S., India, Korea, Yugoslavia, Egypt, Germany, U.K. etc. Regular analyst/commentator/interviewer on Radio and TV in India.
- Covered the proceedings of the Parliament
of India for nearly two decades and had meetings with leaders such as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Chandrashekhar, I.K. Gujaral,
Dr. Karan Singh, Chief Ministers of States, and others on a daily basis. Attended scores of lunches-banquets-receptions at
Rashtrapati Bhavan, and met with top dignitaries.

interviewed celebrities in literature, music and dance, films, visual arts, and sports, both Indian and foreign. Met, chatted
with and interviewed a number of foreign leaders including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Vice President Richard Nixon of
the US, the King of Bhutan Jigme Singye Wangchuk, Kings of Nepal Mahendra and Birendra, the Emperor of Japan Akihito (when
Crown Prince), and his wife, Michiko, King Sihanouk of Cambodia, Crown Prince Hasan of Jordan, the late Shah of Iran, other
kings, presidents, prime ministers, etc on a visit to India.
- Traveled as guest of the governments of the United States, East and West Germany, Egypt, Australia,
Hungary, Romania, Taiwan, South Korea, Mexico, Austria and Bhutan. Also visited Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Pakistan, Czechoslovakia,
Bangladesh, Britain, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Turkey, France, Bulgaria, Spain, Nepal and Switzerland. Traveled extensively
in India visiting major cities from Dwarka (Gujarat) in the West to Kohima (Nagaland) in the East, from Leh/Srinagar (Jammu
& Kashmir) in the North to Kanyakumari (Tamilnadu) in the South. In addition, have also visited Indira Point (Andaman-Nicobar
Islands), the southernmost tip of India.
- Have
closely seen history being made on numerous occasions, and also helped to make history on some.
- Received a special United Nations Fellowship while in India, to
attend and report a U.N. conference in Mexico City.
- Over a hundred poems, many award-winning, featured in several collections.
- Author of over 20 books written both in English and Hindi, including: Bangladesh, Birth of a Nation;
Mujib, The Architect of Bangladesh; Australiana, A Visit to Remember; Korean Experience; President Tito; Autumn Leaves (a
collection of own poems); contributions in Discovery in Europe, Into the Sun, Great American Poetry Anthology, and The Golden
Treasury of Great Poems; The Far East by Prof. Paul Clyde of Duke University (translated into Hindi).
- Contributing Editor of International Business Group of publications,
and India Times. Numerous news reports, feature articles and special articles. Active member of various religious, community,
and cultural organizations.
- Self-starter,
hard-worker and achiever - worked right through the mill to reach top positions in various daily, weekly, and monthly newspapers
and magazines in the India and the U.S. Helped start several newspapers, and magazines.
- Strong motivator - helped Indore University, India to set up the Department of Journalism, and taught
for a year.
- Leader and initiator - Arranged
seminars, events, celebrations, fundraisers, and conferences. Regularly led and moderated discussions at Community Centers
on current affairs, social and literary topics, and poetry sessions.
- Honorary Deputy Sheriff of Tarrant County, Texas, appointed
in 1965 on a visit to the State, as a guest.
