Speaker, California's Two Senators' Own Backyard is Disgusting

DN Verma

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, and both the Senators from California, Diane Feinstein and Kamala Harris, and the Speaker’s own relative Gavin Newsom, the Governor of California, should be ashamed of themselves for the poor conditions, fires, power outages, poverty, lawlessness, high taxes, and the problem of homeless people in their own backyard and  businesses fleeing to other states.

However, they have no time, interest or energy left as they are relentlessly pursuing the goal of destroying President Trump for his ‘crime’ of defeating their party’s nominee and winning the presidential election in 2016.

[Governor Newsom has suffered Dyslexia since his childhood and this has made it difficult for him to write, spell, read and work with numbers’ according to Wikipedia.]

[Harris is also pursuing her goal to become the President, totally forgetting her district. The one who has not done anything for her own backyard, promises to do something great  for the nation. Wow! No wonder she is slipping in the polls and acceptance by the general population.]

Trump also committed another ‘blunder’: he is following on his promises made during his campaign of lowering taxes, creating jobs, bringing down unemployment – even among the blacks, Hispanics, women and others. He has also negotiated beneficial trade deals with others countries and making the allies pay more for protection by the United States. There is now more money in the pockets of the common man, thanks to Trump.

Trump is also trying to secure the borders and rein in huge influx of illegal immigration (tolerated, and even encouraged by the Democrats) that is destroying the traditional values, culture, religious base, economy and security of this country. But that doesn’t make any difference to these Democrat leaders and they go on their chosen path to negate the results of 2016 and let the situation in their districts, their state and the country deteriorate.

They have a one point goal: to destroy Trump, bring him down and replace him by any means. They can’t wait till 2020 elections as they fear Trump would again outsmart them and win a second term.

The mainstream media is behind them with its biased reporting. However, since the condition in these Democratic leaders’ own backyard is pathetic even their biggest supporter, The New York Times, had to admit and report it – on just one problem of homelessness, leaving aside the crime, filth and other serious issues that keep multiplying.

Here is the report from the Times:

“Many cities across California this year announced sharp increases in homelessness. Yet data from San Francisco suggest the real picture might be a lot worse.

For years, city governments have measured homelessness by sending out volunteers on a single night to count, as best they could, the number of homeless people they found on the streets or in shelters. By this method San Francisco this year reported 8,011 homeless people, a 17% increase over 2017, the last time a count was conducted.

But San Francisco has another, arguably more comprehensive, way of measuring homelessness, and the results are even more alarming.

Over the course of a full year, the city counted twice as many homeless people — 17,595 people, a 30% jump from the previous year.

The data, which are rarely cited in debates on homelessness, come from a city database of homeless people who receive health care and other services from the city.

The latest data are from the 2019 fiscal year, which ended in June. If people sought services multiple times during the course of the year they are counted only once.

The 30% jump was by far the largest increase of the past eight years, according to the city’s data. Rachael Kagan, the spokeswoman for the city’s Department of Public Health, said this is partly because in the 2019 fiscal year the city conducted an assessment “blitz,” proactively seeking out homeless people at shelters and hospitals.

For around 1,272 people, it was the first time they were entered into the city’s databases.

There is no perfect way to measure homelessness, which by nature is transient. Kagan believes the higher numbers are the “most complete picture that we have” of homelessness. But she said it is still likely to be an underestimate.

“It does not include people who did not seek services, so it is still an incomplete picture,” she said.

Wow! Somebody please let the Dem leaders and the distractors know about these things and remind them of their ‘real’ duties and responsibilities toward the people who elected them?
